Water flows over the dam that holds back the cold, spring-fed crystal clear trout pond at Paradise Springs just outside Eagle, Wisconsin in the Kettle Moraine State Forest, Southern Unit.

I never get tired of visiting this place. (And I've been here MANY times.) It is just magical. One thing to remember in the summerthough, is bring plenty of bug spray! The mosquitos will try to carry you away. :-)

Whether it is landscapes, architectural elements, still life, or macros - it is a very personal journey as my own fears, triumphs, beliefs, and shortcomings are exposed with each photo. I take the raw images and create what I see in my mind's eye. Coaxing out textures present in the shot - sometimes adding them.
