As I've said before, I love shooting the horizon, especially on water. This day, Lake Michigan was angry with a cold biting wind pushing wave after cold wave onto the rock and ice covered beach. I stood at the edge of this old decaying concrete pier capturing the crashing of each wave as it covered and uncovered the old blocks of stone.
This image is a combination of 20 or so of those photographs.

Emotion. Mood. Feelings. This is what I capture through my photographs. Whether it is landscapes, architectural elements, still life, or macros - it is a very personal journey as my own fears, triumphs, beliefs, and shortcomings are exposed with each photo.
