Artist's Description
A high contrast minimalist black and white photograph of the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
I was struck by how the backside of this building (a performing arts center), was so imposing and sort of ominous. Of course, it didn't help that the day was cold and overcast. Taken in the early afternoon, the sky was white. I wanted a dark feel, so I made the sky black and added the streaks. Taken January 10, 2018.

Enhancing the contrast of light and dark to create the mood and emotions I felt and feel. In the end, it's all about listening to my heart and mind and...

Much drama in this piece - the processing is as strong as the apparently massive structure. This is one of my two pod's in the Best of Minimalism group for January 17.

I think this is especially strong in black and white, Scott, and the light rays are wonderful. This is a pod choice for me today in the Best of Minimalism group.
