A single new leaf, fallen after a brief Spring storm, lays on the forest floor of old decaying leaves from the previous Fall. I love the juxtapostion of the new versus the old.

Shot along the 1200 mile long Ice Age Trail in the Kettle Moraine Forest Southern Unit in southeast Wisconsin.
